Cash flow for carriers

Freight factoring through Cashway Funding

You delivered the load. The broker pays on its own schedule, and fuel, payroll and your insurance payment do not wait. Freight factoring turns the invoice into cash now. We are an insurance agency, not a factoring company, and we introduce carriers to Cashway Funding, a trucking factoring company in Woodstock, Georgia.

Disclosure. American Trucking Insurance Services LLC is an insurance agency. It is not a factoring company and does not lend or advance money. If you become a Cashway Funding client through our introduction, Cashway may pay us a referral fee. Cashway, not ATIS, sets and signs the terms of any factoring agreement with you.

What factoring is

With freight factoring you sell your delivered-load invoices to a factoring company. It pays you most of the invoice soon after delivery, collects from the broker or shipper, and keeps a fee. You are paid when the load is done instead of 30, 60 or 90 days later.

It is a cost, not free money. Whether it pays off depends on the fee, what you are charged on top of it, and how long you would otherwise wait. Our guide on predatory factoring terms lists what to read in any contract before you sign.

Who Cashway works with

This is what Cashway told us in October 2026. Ask Cashway for its current terms before you rely on any of it.

Small fleets and owner-operators

Cashway says 1 to 15 trucks is the best fit, and it will take larger fleets too.

Active authority is easier

An active MC number makes it easier. Cashway also signs up carriers whose authority is not active yet.

Most kinds of freight

Dry van, reefer, flatbed, dump and more. Cashway has told us sprinter vans are not a fit.

The standard program, as Cashway described it

Rate
2.95% flat
No contract at this rate
Recourse
Non-recourse
Ask what it covers
Reserve
None
Per Cashway
Monthly minimum
None
30 days' notice to cancel

Carriers that have been in business a while may be offered a lower rate, and that comes with a contract. Cashway also has a fuel card. Ask what it costs and what limits apply.

Before you sign with Cashway or anyone else, get these in writing: the fee and every other charge, what “non-recourse” covers (usually a customer going out of business, not slow pay or disputed loads), whether you must factor every load, and how you exit.

How the introduction works

You send your MC or DOT number

Use the form below, or call us. That is all Cashway needs to start.

We pass it to Cashway

With your OK on the form, we give your MC or DOT number and contact details to Nick Vaughn at Cashway, who sets up your file.

Cashway goes over its terms with you

You decide whether to sign. Nothing is signed through our site, and the form does not commit you to anything.

Ask for an introduction to Cashway

Submitting this form does not sign you up for factoring, and it does not buy, bind or change any insurance. Cashway Funding sets its own terms. See our privacy policy and terms.

Prefer to talk?

Call (762) 201-2464, Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 6 PM Eastern. Give us your MC or DOT number and we will take it from there.

Questions

Is American Trucking Insurance Services a factoring company?

No. We are an insurance agency. We introduce carriers to Cashway Funding and may receive a referral fee from Cashway if you become its client. Cashway sets and signs its own terms with you.

Does my authority have to be active?

Cashway has told us an active MC number makes it easier, but it also signs up carriers whose authority is not active yet. If you are brand new, say so on the form.

How many trucks is Cashway looking for?

Cashway has told us it works best with fleets of 1 to 15 trucks and will take larger ones.

Does asking for an introduction cost anything or commit me?

No. The form only gives us your details and your OK to pass them to Cashway. You decide after you have read Cashway's terms.
